What is Executive Coaching?
Executive coaching focuses on the corporate officers who head departments and are responsible for running the business. An executive coach helps to identify the executive’s strengths and weaknesses and assists them in honing their leadership performance. Business coaching provides support and occasional advice to an organization in order to improve the effectiveness of their business, develop a strategic plan, and set achievable goals.
Who is Executive Coaching For?
Not all leaders come into their roles with the full set of skills needed to guide their companies, departments, or teams. A common candidate is a senior executive who wants to improve their leadership expertise and/or wants to bring them into alignment with 21st century expectations. Another likely candidate is an individual who has been promoted into a position that requires leadership know-how for the first time.
Where Do Sessions Take Place?
Individual sessions take place primarily via ZOOM, but can be held in person by special request. Team events/retreats primarily take place in person, strictly following CDC guidelines. Arrangements can also be made to hold team events on ZOOM.
What Is The Birkman™ Method?
The Birkman Method is an extremely robust, single questionnaire that can be utilized for executive coaching, high potential and leadership development, hiring selection, team building, talent development, career exploration, and stress management. It was developed by organizational psychologist, Dr. Roger Birkman in 1951. Seventy years later, it is still a preferred instrument to assist in understanding interpersonal dynamics and achieving higher performance.
How Long is an Engagement?
The engagement duration depends on the package chosen and can range from one to 24 weeks.
How Long is a Session?
The session length depends on the package chosen. For an individual, the session can range from one to two hours. For team events, the session can range from four to eight hours.
